Why I Continue

Image
Why I Continue 1. When coming to world Know nothing about how, What the world will Look like in there   Sperm penetrates egg 2. Yet the spermatozoa and The egg of father And mother fuse together Lo, came I forth 3. Started navigating the worldly Paths like others were Put through obscure things I encountered in there 4. Through personal or others Experience. Though personal experience Are not un-associated with Lots of pains ‘n’ agonies 5. It is one of The best means of Understanding things in the World that I am 6. Since nothing is brought Into the world, everything We come across in The world we learn 7. From our knowledge we Either make progress in Such feat or back Out of the terrain 8. Many a time, if Not all the times Positive changes give us The energy to continue 9. On rare instances would Negative outcomes propel people To forge ahead in Their undertakings in world 10. That is how

Life Like a Water

Image
Life Like a Water 1. Water is a liquid Which takes up the Shape of the container In which it’s poured 2. As long as it Is in a container It has shape, but, Immediately it is out Of container, no shape 3. When blood is yet Flowing through our veins And arteries humans yet Have forms of shapes 4. But like water when Poured on the ground That neither has shape Nor could be gathered ‘gain 5. So are humans when Their blood stop’d flowing Life would be gone And couldn’t be gath’r’d ‘gain 6. As water that is Poured on the ground Be drank of the soil So a body without life Water on the ground 7. Goes to the depth Of the soil and Cannot be brought up ‘Gain, so human life. 8. As it has gone, To the world of The unknown and wouldn’t Be seen not anymore

Don’t Know How They Come About it

Don’t Know How They Come About it An incident happened in Okeloke town about 12 years ago after the successful completion of the governorship election of the town. Okeloke town is a town sandwiched among about 6 other towns within the republic of Eyiowuawi. Governorship post is the most fiercely contested for office in Okeloke town it is usually taken as a do or die affair in the town. Out of the 46 political parties in the town, only two of the parties were prominent in the town and it is ascertained that it is one of them that would win the election, because the people of the town do not vote for candidates, but they vote for parties. Assuming it is candidates that they are voting for, it is sure that none of the fielded candidates for the office of the governor by both leading parties in the town would win. The parties’ candidates have taken the social media like a storm campaigning for their candidates and parties, and some have taken added steps of going to the gra

Father's Promise

When I was 5 years old going to 6 my parents take me and my siblings to our village which was about 200 Kilometers from where we were residing. We were there for Christmas and new year celebrations with other members of the extended family. I need to say that prior the time we were taken to the village, my father used to travel to our village, Iyanuni, alone for end of the year activities with his mother having lost his father at a tender age, I doubt if he even knows his father by eye before he died. However, since the time he left the village he has been making it a point of duty to visit his mother and celebrate the end of the year with her alongside other siblings of his. His Mother’s Request Previously he has been told by his mother that he needs to bring his children home, having been married now, his aged mother whose age then was presumed to be close to 90 years old told him that he needs to bring us home so that she would know us before she dies. He said the woma

Nigeria, Nigerians and the Revised Visa Policy

Image
Introduction Everyone who has been following news of the nation called Nigeria very well would remember that not too distant ago, the Visa Policies of the country was reviewed and revised by the leaders. (You can see this link for the policy: http://bit.ly/2GYjpgL) This was contrary to the earlier speculations that the policy would not be revised by some people who perhaps were spokespersons for the government. However, I think the government after much consideration and seeing how recession is biting hard on her citizens with little that can be done to reverse the issue, knowing full well that Crude Oil globally is on the downward trend no thanks to technology advancements and other countries discoveries of oil blocks in their lands. Some of those countries were erstwhile being supplied oil to by Nigeria and since such could not be supplied oil to again, market or sales of crude oil has reduced with meagre income coming for the country whose population keeps increasing des
