Self-Denial Introduction S elf-denial is defined as the act of not having or doing the things you like, either because you do not have enough money or for moral or religious reasons. It is synonymous with abstinence. Self Denial is one of the requirements for anyone who shall be great in life, it is essentially one of the Hall Marks of Christian Faith. This is because christian Faith requires a lot of discipline. This act, the Lord ensures that it sinks into the cerebral cortex of the disciples and which expectedly they continue to pass on to all and sundry as they continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One means of denying one self in the world is fasting.
