ÒWE YORÙBÁ (YORÙBÁ PROVERB)
Atari (ori) ko mọ ibusun, ti o ba mọ ibusun ni, iba ti tun ibẹ se.
Translation
Head does not know where he will rest, else it would have prepare the place well. Or one does not know where his/her last place of rest will be, where one will die, assuming one knows such, one would have take care of the place.
Application.
What you hate/neglect today(now) maybe what you will resort to later, thence becareful of all you do.
Brief story.
My mentor, late Pastor E. S. Adegunle said dis to me when he took me to the mountain for prayers some decades ago. Then because of the way some people handle the WORD OF GOD, BIBLE, teachings, I have been having some troubled minds associating with some churches...Then he said sometimes what one feels does not work out as one feels or as one wants it to work out, a ministry or church one hates today perhaps bc of what one is hearing about them maybe where one will eventually work"...
Obviously talking from experience. Where you least thought of living all your life maybe where your goodness is and as long as one keeps running off such place/s, one will be in lack, servitude, becoming slaves to one's mates...
Pastor Niyi Adedokun also sang a similitude of dis in one his albums dat, someone who ought to be trader and who by dat will employ many people, become stickingly rich, prosper in all his/her ways, if such a one forces him/herself 2 become a Medical Doctor/Lawyer/Accountant/Pilot etc but failing to fulfil destiny whose fault?
Someone who ought to marry a pastor/prophet if such a one insists on marrying a military personnel or politician but failed to fulfil destiny whose fault?
Someone who ought to be under a minister of God but who insists on establishing his own ministry but failed to fulfil destiny whose fault?
Pastor Ilekunayo of C.A.C TEMIDIRE IWOROKO-EKITI also said dis sometimes last year dat some it is bc of education that they missed out in life. He wasnt condemning education but he was saying that some places education, certificates far and above God, ironically sadly after attaining all they aspired to attain, dey still feel empty, they feel unfulfilled bc dey have missed it in destiny, they have missed some association which would have give them a fillip in life simply because they do not allow God, their view is on certificates, certificates, certificates..and after getting all they yet feel unfulfilled in life.
Etc
May God lead us in d right paths to our destinies, may we not be missed out in destiny in Jesus name. Amen.
