The Eater Becomes the Food

When young it has been trained

To kill and eat others

The power to maim, kill and eat others

That power is within you,

This has been the rethorics of its parents

To it and others living with them

As the word is continually being hammered

To its external ear from where it sinks

Into its memory it continues to follow the path

It soon becomes dangerous animal,

Spreading its webs at strategic positions

To catch its preys, arrest them and then poisoning them

Days roll to week, weeks to month,

Months to year, years to decade

And decades to centuries...

It continues to unleash its great power

On its preys, rendering them impotent

Incapacitate them

Afterr tightening its webs around them

And they cannot leave again after serial

Attempts to leave

They become weakened and left thought

Of trying to escape from the entanglement

They have fallen into.

It is at this moment that it will

Release its toxins on them to

Kill them

All insects fear the animal,

They quintessentially feared the web

And do everything to avoid falling into the set trap

It has now become big animal,

Fresh, looking fat, and sumptuous

For it lacks not food anytime and anywhere it gets to

Then a bigger animal, sensible with more

Intelligence one day gets to the location of this animal

The animal has been warning the killer

But the killer did not yield to the big animal

For it has been thinking that it will overpower

The animal too by one of its powerful poisons

The big animal on seeing the killer one day

And how it has littered the place

Decide to silence the killer

The killer has been killed

The eater has been made food for others

The insects that have been dreading it

Now feed on its remains

Always remember that

The "powerfuls" of today will one day become powerless

The leaders of today will one day become followers

The viewed of today will one day become viewers
